David is a successful banker and Paralympian with a staggering 128 goals in 144 international appearances, including five World Cups and six European Championships in the England 5 aside blind football team.

David will reveal the mindset needed to win regardless of the obstacles, with some fascinating anecdotal stories, of his journey so far. He has appeared at three Paralympic Games for Great Britain, but retired from playing after London 2012. He is now the coach of Harpenden Colts’ U7s, so is still heavily involved in the game.

David Clarke is an English former footballer, whose career spanned 17 years from 1995 to 2012 for the England and Great Britain’s blind football team. He was selected as the Stadium torch bearer for the 2012 Summer Paralympics, where he was the first person to receive the torch in the Stadium, and passed it to the final torch bearer. He was a member of the 2012 Summer Paralympic blind-five-a-side Team GB football team.He was guest of honour at the FA Cup final between Manchester City and Wigan Athletic and handed the trophy over to his hometown team Wigan Athletic. David received a lifetime achievement award at the FA England football awards in February 2013 and received an honorary doctorate from the University Of Hertfordshire in November 2013.

David also has a 21 year career as a successful Banker and is currently Head of Clydesdale Bank Business and Private Banking Centre in St Albans.
